It is almost time for the biggest, most important, and most leaked drone launch event ever. Tonight at 10 pm EDT, DJI will introduce to the world the DJI Mavic 3 drone. Here's how and where to watch this highly-anticipated event, titled “Imaging Above Everything.”

The DJI Mavic 3 launch will take place online-only as in-person events have gone out of fashion due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It makes sense, but to be honest, I miss the excitement of the live events DJI used to hold. Hopefully, that will come back at some point.

Anyway, tonight at 10 pm EDT, DJI will broadcast live on YouTube the launch of their flagship drone. This coincides with the November 5 date that was mentioned by DJI some time ago for the Chinese launch.

For drone enthusiasts in , this time is less fortunate as the launch will take place at 3 am for Western Europe and at 2 am for our friends in the .

For folks to the west of , things aren't too bad, however. Californians can watch the event live at 7 pm local time tonight. Further West, for instance in the event will take place at noon. So maybe from a global perspective, a product launch at 10 pm EDT is almost perfect as many people can see it during the day. DJI intends to broadcast the event live on YouTube, which is one of the most convenient ways to watch since the YouTube live stream can be seen on any device where YouTube is accessible, including smartphones, consoles, and Smart TVs.
