Mavic Mini 2 release date rumored to be November 5th

Earlier in this month, we already reported on the expected specs for the DJI Mavic Mini 2. Now we are glad to be able to inform you that the latest DJI drone is rumored to be released on November 5th!

Update: How does the Mini compare to other DJI drones on specs?

DJI Mavic Mini 2 release date is rumored to be November 5th

The DJI Mavic Mini 2 is rumored to be released on November 5th, 2020. The release of the Mavic Mini’s successor comes as a surprise to many people as it was only one year ago that we saw the original Mavic Mini come to market. However, as we said here, DJI’s CEO Frank Wang apparently hated the video quality that came out of the 249-gram-weighing drone, so it had to be improved.

We expect the new drone to feature a 12MP sensor and offer 4K video recording, possibly at a higher bitrate. As the new drone will have to come in under 250 grams, it will be a challenge to see what else DJI can improve on this little quadcopter without throwing the scales off.

You can find our expected specifications list for the DJI Mavic Mini 2 here. Let us know in the comments below if you’re planning to buy the new Mavic Mini 2 on the release date.
