Check out this short video clip that DJI released on Twitter, earlier today. Was this filmed with the yet to be released DJI FPV drone? There are some hints that might indicate so.

Is this pitstop filmed with the new DJI FPV drone?

Earlier today, DJI posted this short video clip on Twitter. In it, we see a staged pit stop of a Porsche 911. There are some hints though that this video was recorded with an FPV drone. Possible the yet to be released DJI FPV Drone.

First of all, did you see at the beginning of the clip how the turn is banked? This indicates that the video was indeed recorded with a first-person-view (FPV) drone.

Secondly, if you pay close attention to the movements of the camera and how this single-shot clip was recorded, it seems to me that one great way to achieve that is with an FPV drone.

Now, we know that DJI is working on one. We have seen the leaked photos before (here, here, and here). We also have this hint from DJI’s Brendan Schulman that more products might still be on the way. And, rumors indicate that DJI might still be planning to release the DJI FPV drone before Christmas. The teaser video below could be an indication that DJI is indeed planning to do so.
