The real DJI AVATA 360 leaks: Video, Promo, features and Release date.

After 3 months of crickets from DJI (I personally don’t acknowledge hand camera’s as drone related products) we now finally have a recent leaked video showing the upcoming DJI Avata 360. In this article I will only discuss trustworthy leaks we have obtained in the previous weeks and will summerize what we actually expect from this Antigravity killer.
And I am happy to announce the release period at the end of this article. Cheers.

Official Avata 360 instruction VIDEO

Like we have seen before with the DJI Flip and DJI Neo 2, it is almost impossible for DJI to hide their new drones in the BETA software of the DJI Goggles and DJI App. Early tester spotted this instruction video (0:16) how to insert and activate the new type of battery.

Although we are spoiled with AI and earlier leaked photo’s. This crappy 32×32 pixel video is actually a big tell the DJI AVATA 360 is coming soon and that testers and YouTubers now have it in their possession to review.

In the same video, thanks to the Italian Quadricotteron we also see the first official box picture and a view of the DJI Avata 360 inside of the DJI Goggles. Side by side with the DJI Avata 2. One might conclude the 360 is slightly larger then the 377 gram Avata 2.

DJI Avata 360 Bundles and Prices

Thanks to a chinese leaker on January 1st 2026, we got this view (below) of the DJI Avata 360 Bundles. Although this isn’t the official specs list we are hoping for – It DOES confirm the 8K/60fps HDR Panorama Video – and informs us about all the bundles and accessories we will be able to get with this drone.

Sadly all prices are low domestic Chinese prices (even for the chinese market) and we can not assume this drone to be this cheap. Personally I expect the Avata 360 to just copy price of the Avata 2 prices from when it came out. (You probably noticed the DJI Avata 2 prices already dropped significantly on Amazon.) I tried to predict the US / EU prices below:

• DJI Avata 360 (Drone Only) ¥2,988 > Expect $499
• DJI Avata 360 (DJI RC 2) Bundle ¥3,988 > Expect $699
• DJI Avata 360 Fly More Combo (DJI RC 2) ¥5,688 (~$811 USD) > Expect $999
• DJI Avata 360 (Goggles N3 Combo) > Expect $1200
• (p.s. This will destroy the expensive Antigravity drone if you ask me.)

Revisit: Avata 360 Promo Images

Let’s jump in the Delorean and revisit the leaked promotional pictures that we were already spoiled with in November. We can see two massive camera sensors on top and bottom. 4 or 6 obstacle sensors in the front. (None on the rear, confirmed by the new video). 4 blade propellers, instead of the usual 3 blade on the DJI Avata 2.

Compatible with DJI Goggles N3, Motion Controllers and DJI RC2 – which came out with the DJI AIR 3S and DJI Mini 4 Pro – which tells us that DJI is not trying to jump to Ocusync O5 just yet, and I love that, because now you can keep whatever you already own and just buy another drone only to add to your collection.

Drone AI Leaks: Fake or reality?

Although I try to stay away from everything AI generated these days (especially drone prediction website with lists of false promises) I do think this first image on a ‘US drone supply’ website was not created by AI. The details look genuine, not generated.

Another great image of the DJI Avata 360 was obtained by my nemesis. Showing the DJI Avata 360 with RC2 and batteries on a carpet. I found this picture on a chinese chatsite that removed Igor’s watermark – sorry Igor – It doest look as spectaculair as all other pictures but at least it’s REAL and not AI:

Last but not least I want to show you this picture I did enhance with AI from the promo picture of the girl with the goggles. No distractions, no fancy over-detailed AI improvements. Just the drone how it will actually look.

DJI Avata 360 Release in March

When I asked my friend in November about the DJI Avata 360 they did not have information and the expected Christmas release was wiped of the table. They expected to get more info at the end of 2025 but all communication went silent. We saw the FCC label but nothing else leaked.

When they finally heard something the DJI Avata 360 was expected for February, but the drone got DELAYED due to delivery problems. Now, all I can share is that it will be a MARCH release, and that it is expected to launch in mainland china first.
