It’s one of those days where you suddenly get surprised by the complete DJI Avata 360 price list on a European webstore. This morning the official DJI teaser dropped and hours later an influencer decided to just post 5 close up pictures of his DJI Avata 360 online. Let’s summerize
DJI Avata 360 price list.
As stated only days ago. The battery of the Avata 360 will not only be more powerful than the DJI Avata 2, it will also be bigger but: cheaper! New photo’s and a new listing confirms once again the battery will be ‘only’ 79 euro/dollar.

DJI Avata 360 vs. DJI Avata 2
Who thought drones only got smaller and affordable, think again. Although the DJI Avata 360 will only set you back a 950 bucks for a full flying experience. It did not become lighter or smaller than its predecessor. The propellors received an upgrade to 4 blades ones (9 euro a set) but the whole body became bulkier and (dare I say: fatter. But hey, at least the 8K camera module is well protected when crashed.
A new type of DJI release. Are you ready?
Normally we would get a teaser 7 days I advance. But this time we got a DJI AVATA 360 announcement 16 days in advance! This proves DJI has changed its release tactics and is about to do something they never don’t before: Are you ready? Because a good source told me there will be an enormous amount of videos BEFORE the release date. Has DJI ended the NDA’s early this time?
Release date confirmed by DJI: March 26th. But the rest of the world has to wait for April 9th.
Time to confirm the DJI Avata 360 Release dates: March 26th will be the day the drone will appear in the Chinese webshop. But April 9th is when people outside of Asia will be able to place an order and if lucky; can actually get their hands on the DJI Avata 360. For the U.S. it’s probably the same date, but more on this subject read Haye’s article about it being the last DJI product available for a while.
