On April 2, firefighters collaborated with Friends of the Detroit River to capture drone footage of a one-mile stretch of Ecorse Creek, spanning from JFK Park in Allen Park to Melvindale High School. The purpose of this aerial survey was to pinpoint locations along the creek that were heavily impacted by litter and obstructions to water flow, caused by both natural debris and man-made waste.
