This week new photos appeared online that show the Parrot Anafi Thermal SE outdoor tactical drone in greater detail and also side-by-side to its smaller brother the Parrot ANAFI. As we said before, this seems to be the perfect search and rescue drone.

Legislation backed by ACLU restricts law enforcement's drone use in Minnesota

The state legislature has passed a first of its kind bill that put restrictions on Minnesota’s law enforcement’s use of drones. The bill was signed into law by Governor Tim Walz on May 16 after winning near-unanimous approval from the legislature. As a result, law enforcement agencies will have to get a warrant before using a drone, unless an exception applies.

EHang obtains approval from Chinese authorities to test passenger drone

EHang announced that the company has received approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to test its passenger drone, the EHang 216. The company says that it “became the world’s first AAV company approved by a national aviation authority to carry out commercial pilot operation for the category of 330-pound-plus heavy-lift air logistics uses,” in China.
